Review: Fiora Ultimate Wireless Desk Charger
I’m a big fan of wireless charging. It’s the future, no doubt and I, for one, cannot wait for it become even more prevalent. I’ve reviewed other wireless chargers in the past and I recently received a wireless charger by a company called Fiora to test out. Here’s what I found:
Overview
The Ultimate Wireless Desk Charger by Fiora is designed to work with any device that uses the Qi charging protocol. It is Qi-certified for fast charging and claims to be the industry’s fastest charging station for iPhone, AirPods Pro, Samsung, LG, Google, and other compatible mobile devices. Fiora also states that they tested their charger with some of the thickest cases (e.g. Belkin, Otterbox, Spigen, etc.) in the market to ensure they work with their charger.
In my tests, the Fiora Ultimate Wireless Desk Charger was able to quickly charge my iPhone and AirPods Pro by simply placing each device on top of the charger as you would expect. In under 30 minutes I was able to charge my AirPods Pro case from 50% power to 100%. Another nice thing in my tests was that I didn’t have any issues with my iPhone staying on the charger (in the past I’ve had issues with my phone falling off the charger due to notifications).
While cases didn’t appear to impact whether the device was able to charge, PopSockets did. When I placed my wife’s phone (which has a case and a PopSocket) on the charger, it wouldn’t charge–which to be honest, is expected.
Design
The charger is very thin and compact with a sleek black or gray finish. It is designed to be portable and work anywhere you need to charge and the tempered glass on top keeps temperatures low while your devices charge. When you open the box you can expect to find a manual, USB-C charging cable, and Qualcomm 3.0 power adapter (which is optional to use, you can plug it directly into your computer via USB-A).
Verdict
I’m very pleased with the Fiora Ultimate Wireless Desk Charger. It works as advertised and is definitely a quick charging device. You can buy the Fiora Ultimate Wireless Desk Charger for $34.95 on the company’s website.
