News & Info

CoinGecko - CoinGecko provides a fundamental analysis of the crypto market. In addition to tracking price, volume and market capitalization, CoinGecko tracks community growth, open-source code development, major events and on-chain metrics. You can read more about their methodology here.

The Block - The Block is the leading research, analysis and news brand in the digital asset space. Founded in 2018 and based in NYC, The Block's team is spread across 7 times zones, covering the global cryptocurrency and blockchain space 24/7.

CoinDesk - Founded in May 2013, CoinDesk reaches millions interested in digital assets and blockchain technology through its website, social media, newsletters, podcasts, video, research and live events. CoinDesk created the original price reference rate known as the Bitcoin Price Index in 2013 which is widely sourced in the media including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, CNBC, and many others on a daily basis.

Blockchain.com - Blockchain.com got its start as an early pioneer of key infrastructure for the bitcoin community. First, with a Blockchain Explorer that enabled anyone to not only examine transactions and study the blockchain, but an API that enabled companies to build on Bitcoin. We also have provided the most popular and widely used crypto wallet that enables anyone anywhere to control their own money. Their website also hosts good information for beginners in the space and they recently moved their HQ to Miami!

Bitcoin Magazine - Bitcoin Magazine is the oldest and most established source of news, information and expert commentary on Bitcoin, its underlying blockchain technology and the industry that has been built up around it. Since 2012, Bitcoin Magazine has provided analysis, research, education and thought leadership at the intersection of finance and technology.

Clubhouse

WOLFxLION - One of the best interviewers and hosts on Clubhouse. WOLFxLION aka Jin always asks excellent questions that really spark great conversation on a variety of tech topics, including crypto. Definitely check out rooms he hosts.

Farokh Sarmad - If you're looking to learn about the latest NFTs, Farokh is the guy you want to follow on Clubhouse.

Gianni D'Alerta - Miami-based Blockchain expert, Gianni D'Alerta is a great person to connect with to learn more about leveraging the blockchain as well as for marketing.

A16Z Crypto - A16Z, the venture firm that has invested a lot of money into Clubhouse is also very interested in the crypto space and has been investing there as well. The A16Z team hosts many rooms about crypto on the app under the A16Z Crypto club.

FlyingHighCrypto - I stumbled across this club somewhat recently and it's a really friendly club. It's just every day people helping each out to learn more about crypto. They host beginner Q&A rooms as well as more intermediate and advanced rooms as well.

Mike Dudas - Crypto enthusiast and founder of The Block.

Mike Arrington - Another crypto enthusiast. He bought Bitcoin in 2014. He's also the founder of TechCrunch.

Anthony Pompliano - If you don't know Pomp, you should. Crypto lover, host of the Pomp Podcast and The Best Business Show. He's also a recent Miami transplant.

Kathryn Haun - General Partner at A16Z helping lead their crypto initiatives, also on the board of Coinbase.

Podcasts

Crypto News Alerts - Your one-stop source for all the latest Bitcoin and cryptocurrency news. This is a daily podcast hosted by Justin Verrengia, each episode is about 20 minutes.

Crypto 101 - A weekly podcast hosted by Bryce Paul and Pizza Mind. Each week, the two dive into various different topics relating to crypto often alongside an expert guest. Most episodes are about 30 minutes.

Apps

Crypto.com - A popular and relatively easy-to-use wallet for crypto currency.

Exodus - Another wallet with an emphasis on design and security.

Trust Wallet - Nice wallet, easy to use, can also store NFTs.

BitPay - A nifty wallet that you can use alongside their credit card that will convert your crypto to fiat currency. The card is backed by Mastercard and can be accepted anywhere Mastercard is taken.
