This Is The Best Apple Watch Stand You Can Buy
So you just got that shiny new Apple Watch but now, you have a problem: you don’t just want to lay it on your desk to charge or when you’re not using it. I don’t blame you, I didn’t either, which is why when I saw that Twelve South was making an Apple Watch stand I knew I had to have one.
If you aren’t familiar with Twelve South, they make accessories specifically for Apple products. So they make stands for MacBook’s, iPhones, iPads, and now the Apple Watch. They also make a bunch of other stuff like cases (I also own a SurfacePad case by Twelve South for my iPhone 6). Anyway, they make great products.
I ordered my HiRise Apple Watch stand last week and received it earlier today. In terms of assembly, there’s not much you have to do and for what assembly is required, the instructions are very easy to follow. You basically need to screw in the support stand and place the charging cable in then close it up and it’s ready for use. I had a little trouble getting the support stand screwed in, mostly because the screw was super small and I don’t always have the steadiest of hands.
Once it’s assembled, you just place the watch on the charger, close the band, and presto it’s charging! The HiRise stand will work with any official Apple band — so the sport band all the way to the link band.
Not only is the stand is sleek and stylish (I got the silver one) it’s also very well made (as I would expect with something from Twelve South). It won’t tip over with a slight tap or nudge, it has to some “heft” to it so you can rest assure your Apple Watch is securely in place.
The HiRise Apple Watch stand retails for $49.99 (with free shipping in the U.S.) and comes in black or silver. It’s available now!
PS: They also make this great HiRise iPhone / iPad mini Stand that matches the Apple Watch stand. So if you are a fan of having a sleek and uniform looking desk, pick up both.
