Talking tech since 2003

It appears that Apple has decided to hide Vine from view within the App Store.  Prior to just a little bit ago, Vine was highlighted as an Editor’s Choice app, but that is no longer the case anymore.

In fact, Vine is no longer listed in Apple’s “new and noteworthy” section either, and it isn’t even highlighted in the “social networking” section of the App Store — despite the fact that it’s currently the number one free social networking app and the number four overall free app.  Apple hasn’t said anything publicly about taking down the promotional materials for Vine, but you can bet it’s due to the recent Vine porn scandal.

Apple has yet to remove Vine from the app store, but it’s certainly not out of the question as they have removed apps for having porn easily accessible in them before.
