Talking tech since 2003

Here’s some interesting news released by global investment bank, Canaccord Genuity: The Nokia Lumia 920 smartphone powered by Windows Phone software is number three selling smartphone on AT&T behind only the iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S III. The report cites that both demand and lack of supply are the reasons for the phone being out of stock in many places.

In order to reach this conclusion, the firm checked on sales channels and from there determined that the Lumia 920 was the top-selling Windows smartphone on AT&T as well as being the overall number three selling device on AT&T. The report also stated that according to the checks, sales of HTC’s Windows Phone 8X topped the Lumia 820 on T-Mobile and the Lumia 822 on Verizon Wireless.

The question that really remains is will the sales continue or will they taper off as more new smartphones hit the market in 2013?
