Textual IRC Client Now Available

What is Textual?  Textual is a lightweight IRC client designed specifically for Mac OS X. It was designed with simplicity in mind. Textual has taken the best of IRC and built it into a single client. Its easy-to-use functionality combined with scripting support makes it an ideal IRC client for novice to advanced users.

Textual has been in development and private beta for three months, however, today is the official public release of version 1.0.0.  The developer behind the project, Michael Morris is one our contributing writers as well as a volunteer staff member on WyldRyde.  The IRC client itself is based off of LimeChat and available under the BSD license.  You can download Textual here.  Textual is also open source so if you are interested in contributing you can find the project over at GitHub.

All support and feature requests can be given in the official Textual IRC channel on WyldRyde or sent via email to support[at]codeux.com.
