Hulu CEO Jason Kilar Is Leaving the Company

Jason Kilar is out as the CEO of Hulu, according to a blog post written by him on the company blog.

While Jason Kilar has been with Hulu since its inception, the news doesn’t come as much of a shock. There have been rumors of Kilar’s departure for quite some time. We even eluded to the departure in our coverage of Hulu’s growth in 2012.

Kilar doesn’t have an exact date for his departure yet, but notes in the post that, “As dates and other items get solidified, I will update the team. But in the meantime and for much of Q1, I will be here as we get off to a very strong start in 2013…”
