Google Begins Beta Testing New AdSense Interface

Google is in the process of beta testing their new AdSense interface. The new interface has been designed around the suggestions and requests of AdSense publishers around the world.

The new AdSense interface includes more detailed performance reports and enables you to view daily stats in graphical formats. It also will provide you with additional metrics such as the amount you’ve earned from various ad, targeting and bid types. Here’s a glimpse at what the new reports currently look like in the beta (after the jump):

The new performance reports are very in-depth and very helpful and by far my favorite new part of the interface. These types of reports were previously unavailable to publishers. In fact, it’s one of the reasons I installed OpenX on my server. Now, Google AdSense can track of that from within the AdSense control panel interface.

Google has also continued to make improvements to the Ad Review Center. The new enhancements will now allow you to have more options with regard to managing the ads that appear on your site, as well as a cleaner interface that makes it easier to find and review them within the Ad Review Center. I have been using the new interface and it is clearly a much improved design and interface.

The AdSense team also simplified common tasks, such as making a change to several ad units simultaneously. On a side note, I would just like to thank the AdSense team for that.

Have you tried the new Google AdSense interface? What are your thoughts? Leave a comment!
