Fuzion lets you turn portraits and selfies into art

Everyone loves using their iPhones to take selfies and photos. In fact, the camera on the iPhone is one of its defining features. That’s certainly no secret. Both the front facing camera and the rear camera on the iPhone have dramatically changed over the years to provide not only better photos but also a better user experience.

Each year, Apple has improved the cameras on its smartphone, most recently introducing TrueDepth functionality. If one thing is for sure, Apple is a company that is constantly innovating and coming up with new products. They also have a wide range of software and apps that you might find interesting from both the company itself and third-party developers in its App Store. You might have already tried out the Play Betgames at Betway on your iPhone. So when I heard about this new third-party photography app called Fuzion I thought it would be worth checking out.

Fuzion isn’t like most traditional photo editing apps out there, that allow you to perfect your pictures with various editing tools.

How does Fuzion work?

Developed especially for iOS, the photography app Fuzion uses the TrueDepth camera data which is available in the newer iPhones (namely the iPhone 8 Plus, X, XR, XS, and XS Max). The idea is to create images by merging together multiple images with the help of portrait mode shots.

Creating double exposures helps improve the quality of your selfies and portraits which is why the app is based on the concept of blending multiple images. The best part is that you will not have to put in any extra effort to get great results. All you have to do is use the app, and you will be able to treat yourself to fantastic pictures.

Fuzion leverages the TrueDepth technology on the iPhone and automatically identifies the silhouette of the subject and cuts away the background.

You can then choose from a variety of backgrounds, including forested landscapes and urban skylines, to blend with the subject. The app also lets you add overlays of dust, light leaks and different colors.

Top photographers have already contributed their pictures to the collection of backgrounds, though I’d love to see more continually be added. The app also offers an in-app purchase for $3, you can unlock some additional effects and backgrounds.

By leveraging the TrueDepth technology built into the iPhone, Fuzion has created a nifty little app with the potential to be a hit. Fuzion is available for free and can be downloaded today.
