Iwant To Start A Website Free One I Don't Have To Pay

Recommended Posts

Hey missy,

Since you don't want to spend any money and you don't really know how to design a site - I personally think the best place to start and you can do all of the things you want is create an artists account on a site called PureVolume.com -- http://www.purevolume.com - Once you've created the account you can login and upload photos, music, post bulletins (for shows, updates, etc), and even blog entries and you'll get your own custom url as shown below:

Here's an example of my band page - as you see it's not an 'official' band yet so there's no pictures, music or anything just my guitar, some lyrics, and myself.

http://www.purevolume.com/sparkswillfly

Here's another example of a band page that's more complete:

http://www.purevolume.com/racethesun

Hope that helps and good luck with the band! B)

Well, you can register for a low-cost website hosting over at 2mhost.com. Their "personal package" webhosting is $1.95 a month, so an entire year will run you just a little over $20.00. Once you're signed up there, they have a FREE website builder there you can use to build your own website. It's not free, but it's the cheapest I've found. I host all three of my websites there:

www.oyle.net (my "personal" website)

www.greenent.com (my "business" website)

www.unemployedmcse.com (my forum website)

I don't think you'll find anything cheaper than that. www.2mhost.com
