I just tried it and didn't have any problem all letters typed. What app are you typing in, are you using a apple keyboard?

10.4.7 powerbook in text edit and Safari. ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

Try going to System Preferences > keyboard & mouse > and reset keyboard shortcuts.

Oh yea, why were you typing the alphabet with both shift keys down.

I'm using the apple default keyboard that came with my eMac. I'm typing it here in Safari for the net and that's just what happens....

Don't ask why both shift keys were being pressed IDK either.... But there still has to be a reason why the keyboard does this....
