Interesting Internet Question

Ok let me setup the connections.

Modem -> Router -> My Computer (Windows XP PRO SP2) -> Wireless LAN Adapter -> WiFi Device

So the Wireless LAN Adapter gets its connection from My computer which sends it to the device(s) that are connected to it using Internet connection Sharing.

Now i have my Device running an FTP server, and I was wondering how I can connect to it from the outside world using my world IP.ADD.RE.SS, I have all the ports open and firewalls down properly (I do it all the time for "My Computer", but I cannot connect to the wireless Device. I figure im missing something or it is not possible.

Hope this makes sense, and someone can figure it out =)
