Ie Firefox Color Difference

when viewing my website I am getting different results with IE or Firefox. With IE my top logo is a slightly darker shade of blue. Why am iI getting this differnce?

maybe the logo is the same, but the backgraound is different with ie.

I changed the header.png to a jpeg file now it is working fine. The creater(Dragon) for the websigte originally use a png file without problems. I am not sure why I was having a problem. As far as I can tell the jpeg seems like an ok solution.

IE still hasn't adapted the PNG stnadards. to make it work properly with PNG you need to make sure you use sanctioned websafe colors. Thats IE sanctioned web safe colors. MS has their own set of rules that they want everyone else to follow.

anyway, the way I got it to work was by doing a little blending on teh edge of the PNG file. that way when IE changed the file color code, it still blended with the logo.
