when you get an error or cant find the web page.

it needs to be cleared or it will keep comming at you

there are three reasone for this

the web page is not available

the fire wall is blocking the info

or your

url.dll has to be cleared

in my first post i made a mistake

it isnt typed in the command prompt

but it is typed in the run box press enter

a small box will appear telling the user that the dll has been cleared

this of course is when using winxp

im not sure if it works in other OSes

it is important to clear those temp files

and more importantly

the address history

ha ha ha sethooks

i call that a quickie

i notice the poster said a DNS error

well he needs to clear the DNS cache

go to the command prompt

and type

ipconfig/flushdns -enter

some times this command wont work

becausde the DNS has to be enabled in services

try the command first

and if it dosent work

post back .

and i will post the fix
