Modding (modifying) is customizing of your computer and other devices to make them suit your style. I have been told that the word comes from the compact car racing scene. For some examples of modded PC cases, you can look at:

that is a pretty cool site you posted

if that is what modding is all about

i probably will participate

i read where some one tried

to build compt in a confined space

and i loved it

i am an experimenter with tech gear

the mobo in the article is the same as mine

nehimia 1gig

I guess slapping a "Work Right Or Else" decal onto the top of the computer case doesn't qualify as a mod? Oh well! That's pretty much the extent of my mechanical abilities!!! :rolleyes:

Seriously, I think a mod section will be a good feature for these boards to draw and keep more members!!! :thumbsup:

All mods are welcome, even the additon of decals :) . When I stated, I started small. A few LED lit fans, a cold cathode or two, some rounded cables. It snowballed from there. It also helps that I to have a love for the creative process.

i read an article where some made a

compt out of a whisky bottle

with the help of a glass blower

at the time i was on my way out

and i didnt get time

save the dam thing

i will try and find it
