There is always some "drop off" with long cables. Noise from interference, depending on the quality of the cable could be a problem. I'd try one or two songs for quality. And move one (computer) or the other (turntable) to get the best copy you can.

Hey Guys,

Im trying to hook my record player up to my computer so I can copy some records onto CD.

My question is, Ill need a 50ft 3.5mm cable to achieve this. Will i have any problems with this length a cable?

Get the thickest gauge rca cables you can. Then put a 1/8th inch adapter at the end.
