Logitech Mx 510 Mouse + Linux

Recommended Posts

I've got a Logitech MX 510 and I know there isn't a Linux driver for it, but I was wondering if there was someway I could get as much functionality out of it as possible. Any ideas? Oh yeah, Red Hat 9, GNOME

EDIT:!: NEVERMIND! I really should do Google and then post the topic instead of the other way around.... I'll come back to this thread if I need help doing anything I found here, which starts now. The page has three links to something it says I should download. The links are at dev.gentoo.org. I'm using Red Hat 9, not Gentoo. Should I be concerned?

The patches should be fine for Red Hat. If they aren't, you'll know when you try to apply them.

But do make sure that you actually need them and that you can make use of them. You may need to rebuild or upgrade you kernel as well.
