I know to open new tabs with CTRL + T.

What I want/need to know is how to make FF open links in new tabs.

I have the Tools/Options/Advanced/Browsing/Select new tabs opened from links. Actually all items in browsing are checked.

In Firefox V 1.0PR, if you want to make firefox open ALL links in new tabs, you can do so this way:

Tools > Options

General > Tab Options...

There are plenty of options there.

If you only want to make SOME links open in new tabs, you coulc right-click and select "open in new tab"

If you have a mouse with a middle button or clickable scroll, it should be set up to just let you middle-click to open in new tabs.

If what you are wanting, you can't find in these, or the options as shown above, then you could always try to tabbed browsing extention found here.
