Computer Slooooow-down

Recommended Posts

So as of late, my computer has gotten stuttered, frozen, and been slower-than-molasses-in-the-winter-time, literally over night. My sister was using it, doing her normal graphics editing, and then it froze. Been running crappily ever since.

I've tried every anti-virus/spyware softward I could find, and run Nortons on it. Still no luck, so this is my last resort... Here is my log. As much as I could see, I can see no abnormal program on here... anyway. The logs.

well you are right, for the most part your log is clean. I see a couple of objects listed that can be removed.

please start Hijack This again, choosing scan only. Place a check next to the following entries, then making sure all browsers and windows. including this one, are closed click on fix selected.

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {B3DFA39D-B9AE-B304-08DD-509C980C15BD} - (no file)

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {CA507800-95CD-411C-8D71-82AE19D01FF9} - (no file)

then reboot. and let us know how your system is working. There is a possibility that your computer's memory is just overloaded at the moment, usually shutting down the computer for 30 seconds or more will clear the memory. See if this helps. Most graphics programs today use a lot of Memory resources, adn Windows doesn't release the memory very easily once its been used.
