This doesn't look promising from my viewpoint....was there any noises coming from the drive?

Was it spinning up completely or did it fluctuate?

I take it Safe Mode was attempted?

Really tho, if installing this drive into a Slave slot on another machine makes it become unbootable, I see no viable recovery solution. We need another working OS to even attempt data recovery on this drive.

I would have to say that the chances of getting these going is extremely remote, and recovery off a non spinning drive is very expensive....sorry

But i also find it very odd that both drives would die at the same time...almost statistically impossible really.....I have to go out but I'll think on this and post later.
