Internet Radio Recorder

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows of a good program to record internet radio broadcasts. There are some shows that I like listening to, but I dont get to listen to it when it is first played. I have to wait a few weeks before they are made into podcasts. I was hoping to record them and listen to them much earlier then 3 or 4 weeks out. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

bj

Thanks again, Michael. For the price, it seems like a great price to pay to prevent Son from going to those "cootie-ridden sites".

*Oh, by the way, you probably don't even remember, but I still have the teletubbie desktop you made for me. No way will I let the kids change it :) Their friends see it and say, "that was your mom's doing, wasn't it??" Ahhh, they know me too well.

And whoops, bj, sorry to hijack your thread, but it sure has been informative. Thanks again for posting! Think of me as a thread bumper

Liz

hmm.. I havent used it in a while, but have you tried to search for the shows in the station browser? Also if you go to Current Downloads, if you found out the Server Address you could put that in the text space and it might download. You could try that.

I use the Creative Soundblaster recorder that came with the soundcard. Select the audio type/source and record.
