I do believe Winamp doesn't take much memory. Seeing as how the music is on CD, you could play the CD in a CD player, just a thought.

Agreed. Winamp doesn't use very much memory. If you have a CD player NOT on your computer that you could play the music through, I would suggest doing that instead.

I agree with the folks that have voted for the "outside" player. There's no sense in taking up resources unless you have to. If you do have to use it - no portable player or something - then go with winamp; definitely doesn't take up much memory.

I have a CD player but I like to use head phones while playing though. So I can't over lap headphones on top of one-another
