old video card on a motherboard?

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine is selling me this motherboard at a very affordable price:

and I have this old PCI video card:

I was wondering if I could put them together to build a desktop computer since the motherboard has no onboard video.

The motherboard's memory and the graphic card's memory are independent of each other. It shouldn't matter even if you used an old PCI card from an old original Pentium PC.
