Hi everyone,

I installed VMWare v3, on my comp yesterday...

Everything is working fine, except that I can't configure dialup.

I mean, it thinks that my modem is on COM1, but its on COM2.

I go into device manager, it syas that COM1-COM5, are all being taken up by resources.

dk <_<

I just installed Version 5 a couple of days ago and had initial troubles getting a connection also.

Mine is Cable tho so all I had to do was change it to NAT during setup and it has worked great.

Lemme see what I can find on dialup config for you but V3 is old and may have issues. It is vitally important tho, that during the setup phase you choose the proper configuration for your type of connection, this may be where you went wrong.
