Firefox Tweak For Those Who Use Moz.

Open a new tab, type about:config and hit enter. Scroll down to find these prefference names listed below. Right click on the name and choose modify to change its value to the new ones listed below.

  • network.http.max-connections (change value to 48)
  • network.http.max-connections-per-server (change value to 16)
  • network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy (change value to 8)
  • network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server (change value to 4)
  • network.httpelining (change value to true)
  • network.http.pipelining.firstrequest (change value to true)
  • network.http.pipelining.maxrequests 3(change value to 2)
  • network.http.proxy.pipelining (change value to true)

I got the same things BitBanger got and I'm on Firefox 0.9.3. I just made a value for the network.http.pipelining.firstrequests

I am sure you noticed that there are alot ...ALOT.. more settings there tweakable..:) I am also using .9.3 and I copied those from mine..

Thanks for the post flatiron__2. As an avid Firefox enthusiast, I will enjoy surfing on those links and the stuff the sites have beyond that too. I think this will be very helpful to lots of people...The extensions are a nice start towards tweaking Firefox, but I had no idea so much more could be done with them until this week. Excellent!! B)

WiredMonkey, I had no idea either that there were so many tweaks

and tuning for FF untill today.

I'm glad CurlingSteve is around, he's on top of a lot of that stuff.

You can tell he has done his homework!

I've noticed that a lot of folks on here have done their homework, flatiron__2 - we're in the presence of some folks who truly know their stuff. I love being in good communities like that. I only hope I can add to the collective at times. :P
