Inverted Webcam

Recommended Posts

hello guys!

anyone got any quick fix on this problem?

i got this laptop and its webcam works OK with Vista. but with Win7 its inverted.

i presume its driver issue or something but can find anything on the web.

any ideas? not familiar with win7.

You are correct; when this happens it is a driver issue.

Three options.

1. Turn the webcam up side down now the image is right side up.

2. Buy a new webcam which is Windows7 compatible.

3. Contact the manufacturer and let them know about the problem; then wait and see if they produce a new updated windows7 driver that works.

Do you have an ASUS laptop? If so click the link for ASUS Support and input your laptop's information to get to the driver page. To identify your webcam open Device Manager, find your webcam in the list and obtain the PID number. Scroll down the ASUS driver list for webcams and select the one that matches yours. Make sure it is for 32-bit or 64-bit depending on your operating system.

We do not email members with instructions. All answers will be supplied in a reply here.
