Recommended Posts

One of son's friends is looking for an alarm clock program for his computer, maybe something he can set up with scheduled tasks. For XP. Any suggestions??? Thanks, Liz

Hi all,

Wow!!! Lots of options for him. He's more techy than me (well, most everyone is!) so I'm just going to send him here! Told him this was the best place for answers! Thanks a bunch, Liz

Liz,

Don't look at it as "digg up an old thread" it is letting those who helped know the problem was fixed. Helps us know that we are doing the right thing.

Many people do not post back when the fix is applied to let the forum know how it was done, myself included.

Thanks for the post back, a good habit to start.

M

and Liz..just think all the new members get to benefit since they weren't here at the time of the conversation... I like it when an old thread is resurrected which contains valuable info....it's like not missing the boat after all!

Reading through this has sparked an idea in my head. This Clock-x program can be set to shut down the computer, but is there a way to get your comp to turn on at a certain time? I was just wondering how one might do this and such.
