Kingston launches 256GB USB flash drive

Kingston today released the world's largest capacity USB memory stick: a flash drive with 256GB worth of storage.

According to Kingston, the Kingston DataTraveler 300 is available for sale in the UK, although product searches for both the device's name and part number - DT300/256GB - are at this point failing to turn up any live vendors.

The 70.68x16.9x21.99mm Kingston DataTraveler 300 includes the Password Traveler security software for Windows and enjoys claimed transfer rates of up to 20 MB/sec read and 10 MB/sec write, according to Kingston
