Grub Loader Error 21

Recommended Posts

I have a secondary Hard drive that neither Ubuntu see's or XP Pro, so I thought I would just take it out. When I do I get error 21 on my grub loader. I put the drive back in and it boots fine. What do I need to do to my grub loader to make it stop doing that so I can remove the HD?

I don't use the other hard drive anyway my primary is big enough for what I need.

when the site is back up from maintenance.

This will help you fix grub, it is looking for the drive for its mappings.

you could use any live cd and lots of command line stuff, but this is easier
