I am pretty familiar with CMS installs and such. I am looking for some help with forums. I am looking to add a forum to my site on my server. I have looked into Vbulletin but as I have a server hosted already with Server Intellect I need an asp.net solution. I need something that will run on a Windows 2008 Server. I want it to be resource friendly as I have MS SQL running on my server already. Here are my server specs. Looking for anyone who installed or currently using a asp.net forum. Tell me what you love about it and what features turned you on to it. Thanks!

is this going to be connected to the Internet, It is never a good Ideal to run MS SQl on the same system as a Internet facing web server.

.NET will make Resource friendly hard and I am assuming you want free so here we go

http://www.411asp.net/home/webapps/forum (listing of asp.net forum software free or not)

http://www.dmgforums.com/ (free)

We only use share point, but I would not recommend it.. Almost all web stuff I do is LAMP based so, I can not give advice on specific ASP.net software sorry.
