How do I get it to open in firefox when I click on it? When I look at configure it asks for browser path. What is the path in Ubuntu?

The browser can be probably be launched via /usr/bin/firefox. You can find the locations of most utilities on the command line

[~]$ which firefox
[~]$ whereis firefox
firefox: /usr/bin/firefox /usr/share/man/man1/firefox.1.gz

The browser installation is probably in a directory somewhere around /usr/lib/firefox. It varies between distros and I don't have Ubuntu handy.
