I recently updated to Vista SP1 on my desktop and I have noticed a funny thing that has started to get on my nerves. Every and I mean every time I close a explorer window I get the usualy popup window saying Windows Explorer has stopped working, and then I click check online for solutions, etc. I know no clue why Windows Explorer stops working every time but it is getting annoying any help would be great

In most cases re-installing a faulty application will fix specific program file issues

Please go to C:\Program Files\Free Download Manager

And remove the entire folder (as long as you have uninstalled first from add/remove programs)

You may want to download CCleaner to remove any/all temporary files (especially downloaded temp files from "Free Download Manager")

Once your computer is clean of all junk files and restarted

You can then re-install "Free Download Manager" to test again

IEFDM2.DLL is related to Free Download Manager. http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/

Please reply back, after doing this, to confirm the results.
