To keep the Forum Members informed:

Sunday:

Today is prep day.

At 10am (CST) must take 4 pills (bisacodyl delayed-release tablets) with water.

After 12noon, no solid food, begin drinking Halfytely Bowel Prep, 1 cup every 15 minutes (total of 8 cups).

Only intakes can be clear liquids: water, 7up,Sprite, plain broth, tea, jello etc. for the rest of today thru tomorrow morning

(Monday 26)

Monday;

Report to the hospital by 5am for a 7am date with the Urologist and Oncologists Doctors for

radiation implants (seeds).

Will be gone for a few days and hope to be back as soon as possible.

Good luck. I remember having to drink that "golightly" stuff prior to having my colonstomy reversed and the no food bit .

Not sure which was worse, drinking stuff that tastes worse than gatoraide or no food for a day knowing I would be on a food free diet for several days afterwards.

Handplane, I wish you the best and a most speedy recovery. You will be missed for a few days, but do what they say so we can see you back here. You will be in my thoughts and prayers also.
