For Anyone Who Uses A Trackball

Recommended Posts

Not sure if anyone here uses one. While I was cleaning the ball guides on my trackball, I lost one of the guides. I replaced the acrylic ones with ceramic ball bearings. It is lightning fast and I don't seem to get hardly any buildup of lint, crumbs or whatever. They're not cheap but I paid a fair amount of money for my trackball and it was well worth it

This is the type of trackball I was refering to. It's all I've ever used. Never used a regular mouse until I built my wife's computer. Yes it's the same type of guides as in an old ball- type mouse. Of course the ceramic balls would be worth more than the old mouse

This is my trackball mouse. I rarely use it.

I use a trackball because that's what I learned computing on. I'm actually more responsive on it. Don't know how well I could use the ergo-friendly one

I use a Logitech Cordless Optical Trackman myself and have for years.

I don't really sit "in front" of a desk since I have my LCD screens on articulating arms, so I have a reclining leather chair and my monitors floating out in front of me, so this doesn't suite a mouse well. I've used the Trackman on the arm of the chair for 4 years now and I LOVE this thing! It's by far the Best trackball I've ever used or seen, and the programmable buttons make life a snap!
