marty a scanner will do it but I don't know about the quality.

if you have a store like walmart I would take them there.

any photo store can do it cheaply.

I took mine to walmart and I think it was about 10 cents each for original size copy.

marty,

I know you have xp.

Try steps below.

Select the pictures you wish to burn to CD in the My Pictures folder.

Choose Copy to CD from the Pictures Tasks menu.

Go to Start then My Computer and click on the CD-burner icon.

Select Write these files to CD from the CD Writing Tasks screen.

This launches the CD Writing Wizard.

Enter a name for the CD in the name field. Click Next.

The burner writes the pictures to CD and a Completing CD Wizard screen appears and tells you the process has been successful. Click Finish.

if by copier, you mean scanner, it should work. Give it a try, let us know how it works.

Scanners usually pick up more info than copiers. Of course that depends upon the quality of both AND of the original photo.

Another option, and I've done this with OLD photos, we're talking about 1930's, is to place the photo on a white mat and take a photo of THAT with a good camera and lens from 12 to 18 inches away. You'll also need some decent lighting.

I'm a photoghapher, so I've played around with these ideas before.

Of course you'll need a good digital camera to do this and then you'll have to edit the photo in a Photoshop type program.

Or, and probably a lot easier, as said earlier, you can take the pic to a photo lab, have them scan it and finish it.

Let us know how it turns out Marty.

Joe
