  4. Download KillBox http://www.downloads.subratam.org/KillBox.zip. Place it in a folder on your Desktop. Help with unzipping files is HERE In the main screen of Pocket KillBox, go to Tools in the top menu bar, and select: Delete Temp Files. Use the drop down box and clear ALL profiles this way. Back at the main Killbox screen check the box that says 'End Explorer Shell While Killing File'. Next click on 'Delete on Reboot'. Got notice of this as I was walking out the door for work..will post this afternoon... couple of questions..You are unable to log in to Windows in normal mode under Any account.. is that correct?? Have you tried to create a new one (with admin priv) and see if you can boot then.... Have you installed/added anything around the time the trouble started?? Do you have the winXp Installed Cd??   10. I see you edit the post...were you able to boot to normal mode and run Hijackthis?? it kinda looks like a normal mode log and not a Safemode log... If not try the following and see if you can get to normal mode afterwards. Go to Start > Run and type "Services.msc" (without quotes) then hit Ok Scroll down and find the below services: Ms-java When you find it, double-click on it. I've ran it for 3-4 months now and just LOVE it....Other than the usual problems you would expect on for an 'unstable' version..none of which have been the "System halting" type of problems.....One of the biggest things is the frequency and number of updates (especially now that it's getting close to release date) It's not unusual to get 60+ (and 250MB) updates a day..; although the 250Meg is a bit on the large size probaly average around 40-60Megs for me, Biggest number of updates in one shot that I remember is 147.   20. What is finding mplayer64 and where is it seeing it at?? There is no sign of any Malware in you log. Please download Ewido Anti Malware, it is a free version of the program.   21. If you are having that much trouble....try the Panda scan and see if you can get a log frtfom that..we may be able to delete a goodly number of the files manually.....Panda may take care of some itself too.

  24. Welcome indeed...although your Hijackthis log is 2 days old i think we've got a good starting point, it will take several steps to get rid of this(these) baddies. Please download the Suspicious File Packer from here: http://www.safer-networking.org/files/sfp.zip Unzip it to the desktop and run it. Paste the following list into the Suspicious File Packer window: C:\WINDOWS\system32\gwojd.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\pmwfdy.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\rrunnfj.exe Allow SFP to pack the files.
