  1. I actually have a Firewall and Antivirus from McAfee.. should I just use it, or use the ones you linked instead? I keep that and my windows xp upto date
  2. I rebooted. THe first time we really fast (took about 20 seconds), then the second time it was about 35 seconds. I reran Hijack this one more time and I'll post that below. My old reboot time was around 90 seconds, so even the 35 seconds is a vast improvement. I'll still have to wait and see if I get those damn pop-ups still. (I posted this over at G4- Call for Help and they told me to come here and post it that no one there views these any more) My new laptop suddenly started running really slow (it's a 2 GHz processor I really think something is wrong.
