I heard USB 3 is really fast.... even faster than firewire. Can anyone tell me how much faster USB 3 is when compared to USB 2?

I'm currently running Windows 7 and I was wondering if Windows 8 will be a worthwhile upgrade for me? I have a good computer, it can handle it spec wise, but I don't have a touch screen which makes me nervous about the new metro user interface. Do you think it'll be worth upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 8? Thanks!

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about signing up for App.net, especially now that they lowered their yearly pricing to $36 and are also offering a monthly payment option too. Do you think it's a good alternative to Twitter? How is the community there? Thanks!
