  5. Here is some info you may want to read through. Depending on your expertise will determine how much you want to tackle on your own. You may also look at reviewing the Malware Removal section of this site and see about posting a HijackThis log for the site experts to look over. They will be able to walk you through any removal processes needed.

    marty, The Site is up but a few of the sections (Forum, etc) are not responding.
  7. What model is your lappy? If you go into Device Manager, what is the condition of your network adapter? Does it indicate it is working properly?
  8. Does your laptop have a switch to enable wireless? A lot of the new ones do. Do you have a connection icon in the lower right of the screen that identifies available networks and allows you to connect to one? What does the manual say about enabling wireless?

  14. Now that the peregrin falcon nesting season is in full swing I have noticed a problem when viewing one of the falcon sites I frequent. It happens in IE7 and not in Fire Fox so there must be something turned off or not installed that has eluded me to date. When I visit this site, Kodak peregrin site with Fire Fox, evetything is displayed properly. When I vist the site in IE7, I am unable to view the pictures on the multiview page. I get the 4 boxes but the pictures will not open and it says "loading". The picture in the main view opens just fine. I also noticed that the "Fifth" that is bli
  15. The motherboard is: ASUS A7N8-LA I believe. Don't see a video card---only onboard video port. Does this mean we will have to replace the motherboard? You could try installing a video card to see if your problem is resolved. If you have one or know someone with a spare, pop it in, load the drivers and see.
  16. Only 66 here today, so now that I'm home from the gym, I won't be venturing out except to get the mail. Brrrrr....
