ok...don't hit me for bringing up old post but I accidently found any easy solution to my problem about the pop-up. I go to the web page- the ad pops up- I close the pop-up- I go look at a photo- now instead of clicking on the back button, I simply click on the link again in my favorites. no more pop-up. strange but it works.

for IE?....do you have spybot search & destroy? open up spybot search & destroy. go to tools, IE tweaks. you can put what you like. IE twaeks is the 4th. icon down...looks like a little earth. use the box that say internet explorer custom title.

there are several reasons. we have 2 computers in the house and 2 computers in my shop. I have a lot of files that other people need access to and I want to control levels of access for people as we have a lot of kinfolk coming over that has a tendency to go places they shouldn't go. I am mainly responsible for the operation of the computers and I need someway to do the scans from my shop where I spend much of my time. I also need them to be able to make changes to certain files. only one computer will have access to the internet. less trouble for me if I can just go to the main compu

guru help....lots of questions about redundant array of independant drives...I want to setup a server with 5 hot swapable hard drives-160 gig. 1. with limited budgett what is the cheapest equipment? 2. will this work with winme and will I need special software? 3. if I have to replace a bad drive how do I copy all the stuff to the new drive? 4. will I need to install windows on each workstaion manually? 5. will I really need a hard drive on the workstations? 6. will I hook the workstations up thru a router or just use usb? I ran spybot s&d the other night and it said that stumbledupon.com left a toolbar on my computer and a registry entry. spybot recognizes it as a baddie. let me know if you find anything. thanks. let me edit this: I'm not sure if it was spybot, adaware, or asquare...anyway it said it was a no-no.

If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle. If the horse has one front leg in the air the person died as a result of wounds received in battle. If the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes. this doesn't necessarily hold true. if you have ever been to washingotn dc you will find that at least half the statues there don't conform to that idea. sorry.

ok guys...I stand corrected. I have checked with my reliable source and I was told that drive in theartes are making a comeback. people are actually starting to enjoy going to drive in movies again. the only thing that my source couldn't tell me was how many have reopened and how many new ones.
