thanks for your reply and all your help However I can confirm that I do have an anitivirus installed as well as a firewall: Mc afee securitycenter is on my system I also have Spybot-SD resident and I am using Malwarebytes' antimalware which sits on the tray; do you want me to remove the Malwarebytes from startup?
