Usually if the monitor makes hissing and popping noises at the back it means that the connection from the LOPT (transformer) to the anode on the screen is loose, there is a way of fixing this but it wont always work. BEWARE THAT THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS. THERE ARE VOLTAGES IN EXCESS OF 30000 VOLTS AND THE TUBE CAN IMPLODE CAUSING A GREAT DEAL OF INJURY.   4. Hey, I found out how to get multiple monitors working on linux and thought I might share it with everyone. 1. Open a console and type gksudo nvidia-settings 2. Go to X Server Display Configuration. 3. Enable the second monitor by clicking Configure and selecting TwinView. 4. Click Apply to test your settings (windows may be maximised across both monitors, dont worry, all will be fixed when X is restarted). 5. Once you are happy click Save to X configuration file and click save again. 6. Log out, press CTRL + ALT + BACKSPACE to restart X and log back in. 7. With any luck you should have 2
  5. Hey Jeff, I just wanted to say that even though I'm new to the forums I like what I see, It looks like a nice friendly community. I watched your youtube channel before and I think some of the videos on there are really informative, especially your Broadcasting Tips video.
