Open the C:\Antispyware\RKFiles folder * Locate and double-click the RKFILES.BAT to run this tool. * Sit back and wait untill its finished. * When it is finally finished a text file will open. * Save the contents of that text file. Note: It should save by default to C:\Log.txt 3. Reboot back to Normal Mode. 4. Post the log Also lets do silent runners * Please click this link to download Silent Runners. * Save it to the desktop. * Run Silent Runner's by doubleclicking the "Silent Runners" icon on your desktop. * You will see a text file appear on the desktop - it's not done yet, just let it run (it won't appear to be doing anything!) * Once you receive the prompt "All Done!", double-click on the new text file on the desktop and copy that entire log and paste it here. *NOTE* If you receive any warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run.
  6. Sorry about the delay getting back to you I've been extremely busy with my job. Run HijackThis again and place a check beside each of the following items once done close all other windows and click fix checked. First go to add/remove programs and look for FWN or FWN toolbar and uninstall it if found. R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page_bak = about:blank R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName = R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Aecp] C:\Documents and Settings\Yat Thai Chin\Application Data\p?i??.exe O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler.exe O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA9.EXE O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{794B8FF9-8419-4886-8650-7F97A42A3756}: NameServer = 209.47.15.118,64.157.143.38 Reboot and delete the following File C:\Documents and Settings\Yat Thai Chin\Application Data\p?i??.exe Reboot again and post a fresh log. Also post what problems you are still having.
  7. Download Stinger from here http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ . Download CCleaner from here http://www.ccleaner.com/ Boot to safe mode(tap F8 on reboot and choose safe mode from the list of options) Once in safe mode run Stinger. Then run CCleaner. Reboot to normal windows and post a fresh HijackThis log.

On the second machine please do the following Use Ad-Aware following the instructions here: "http://www.atribune.org/adawaretut.html" Use Spybot following the instructions here: "http://www.atribune.org/spybottut.html" Use one of the following online virus scans: "http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/" or "http://housecall.trendmicro.com/" Then reboot and post a fresh log.
  9. Your log is clean. Try this Go start>control panel>network connecctions>right click Local area connection and choose properties. In the local area connections properties window you should see Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) click on that once then click the properties button. In the bottom section of this window there is a "Obtain DNS server address automatically" with a checkbox and a "Use the following DNS server addresses" checkbox. Copy the numbers, then Clear the numbers in the "Preferred DNS server" line and the "Alternate DNS server" line and then check the box to Obtain DNS server address automatically. Click ok then ok again. Next reboot your computer and give it a try. If for some reason you cant get back here after following the above instructions just reenter the numbers. Also who is your internet service provider?
  10. Not sure how you are trying to use this but if you go to post on a forum and you want to spell check your post simply right click and choose check spelling
  11. Angeloftheflames, Efwis, Psykel I ended up helping angeloftheflames in chat. It would seem as though Search.findwhatevernow.com changes the primary and secondary DNS. We reset it to his isp's DNS and all seems good now. Good luck Akio and happy surfing.
  12. DK update your sound card drivers. If that doesn't work click start then run and type dxdiag and press enter. Next choose the sound tab and lower the hardware acceleration to the minimum. reboot then try the game. If it works go back into dxdiag and raise it abit. Reboot and try again continue doing this till you BSoD again then one last time to back it down a notch. Hope this helps.
  13. My understanding is that upload speeds are lacking on sat. services. I have dsl 4.0mbps down and 400kbps up and i woulldn't change for anything, pro1driver, Why don't you go over to dslreports and have them help you tweaj your connection http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,3365263~mode=flat All you need to do is answer the 11 questions in that post then post the answer in a post of your own on thier board.
