  1. Again thanks for the tips I should be able to sort myself out now for the future.
  2. Not being the best techie and almost completely devoid of common sense I had failed to read to the end of the thread that told me to contact this site. On closer inspection I found a full list of instructions on the next comment By a simple use of a couple of nuerons I was able to fix it myself using the clever software recommened. However if you know how to fix a pen drive that has less va va voom than an old skoda on ben nevis then be my guest to give me a hint.
