  1. It's been almost a month and no help yet on my problem. I'm extremely disappointed.
  2. My Gateway notebook mx3416 began to restart itself from hibernation about 1 - 1 1/2 months ago. I had it set to hibernate upon closing the lid. It goes into hibernation but will bring itself back on after anywhere from 10 minutes to a couple of hours. I have gone through with Spython, Spybot, HouseCall, Grisoft AVG, I have degfragged and done scandisk. Problem still exists. Any suggestions? Would be willing to rerun any of these if beneficial. The other thing that we had problems with was about 2 - 3 months ago my notebook went down after update installed "Software Distribution Pack 3".
  3. I'm getting popups. ErrorSafe? Take a look at my HJT log please. 4. Apparently something is interfering with my XP Home Admin account. I have my notebook set up like this for 2+ yrs: XX has a limited permissions account for surfing I have a limited permissions account for surfing I have a full permissions Administrators account for maintenance I was advised that doing my surfing on a limited permissions account was a secure way to help safeguard my computer in case I run into a hostile script on the web. The theory being that installations would not be as possible if the PC is accessed via a limited permissions user account. Not sure how valid this is but I wa
