Former Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch to Join Apple as VP of Technology

You might want to keep your eye on iCloud over the next year or so.

Kevin Lynch, formerly Adobe’s CTO, played a big role in helping the company move from packaged sales of its products into cloud sales through Adobe’s Creative Cloud and Marketing Cloud efforts. Now Lynch will be joining Apple as its new Vice President of Technology, a post that will reportedly fall under the supervision of Senior VP of Technologies Bob Mansfield.

Apple has made iCloud a big part of its game plan for all of its products, whether they’re iPhones, iPads, iMacs or MacBooks. It’ll be interesting to see how Lynch’s cloud expertise can help Apple push iCloud even further.
