Apple-Microsoft Deal Could Land Bing As Default Search For The iPhone

Apple is rumored to be in talks with Microsoft to make Bing the default search engine on the iPhone effectively ousting Google.  If this deal goes through and according to a recent BusinessWeek post it is seeming more and more likely what would you do?  Would you a.) not buy an iPhone (ever again or at all)? b.) Immediately switch your iPhone’s search engine to Google or c.) Would you use Bing as your default search engine on your iPhone?

It is an interesting time with Google and Apple essentially competing head to head here in the mobile market.  It also leaves you wondering if this deal does happen, if the next thing to be replaced on the iPhone is Google Maps with either Bing Maps or Apple’s own maps service (if in fact they are working on one).

I personally have used Bing in the past and it is a very good search engine.  I don’t know if I would switch immediately back to Google especially if Bing was working out for me (which it has in the past).  What do you think?
