I’ll Be Attending Gnomedex 2009

It’s official – I will be at Gnomedex 2009 (with Mandy).  That’s right!  I ordered my plane tickets and booked my hotel room today.  I will be flying to Seattle to attend the conference which starts on August 20th through the 22nd.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with Gnomedex, it’s a technology based conference hosted by the one and only Chris Pirillo.

The conference is supposedly one of the best technology conferences out there today.  People from all over the world come to speak, socialize, and network.  I, for one, am truly excited because I have been wanting to go to this conference since I was about 14 years old – I’ll be 20 by August (for those who care to know).

What do I expect to get out of Gnomedex?  Well, I’d like to meet Chris Pirillo, but, aside from that I hope to take away some new knowledge and friendships with people who are interested in what I do.  I plan to do a full writeup after the conference similarly to what I did with Podcamp NYC.

I also plan to live stream from the event as there will be WiFi provided.

Are you going to Gnomedex?  Have you ever been to Gnomedex?  Leave a comment!
