just a note if any ones uses the web scan from trend micro.
it will ask you to to install sun java .
as i didnt need sun java i had to go to internet options -advanced .and uncheck all micro java options.and it allowed me to scan under the old sys.which ive done
this must have come with.sp2 tho remember pete telling us to un check all those java boxes
thats why i rememberd to go in there.
as it turned out my sys was clean thought id post this because at first i was abit confused as to what to do.but yo dont need to use sun java to scan

just a small note to add to that marty, if anyone plays games at yahoo (I used to be tournament director of a gin league) and you ever have problems getting applets to load you can do the same thing. Uncheck everything java and you shouldnt have any more problems :)

hi crow its great how asking Q. CAN LEAD TO OTHER SOLUTONS
my 2 grand sons were having this problems so when i read your post i emailed them and ive just recieved an email from them,thanking me and the.the man who gave the tip
