Well, I'm still researching cell phones. I think the choice is going to be a Verizon family plan with 2 phones. I am now considering the HTC Droid Eris for myself. It's listed at Newegg for $49.99 with the dreaded two year commitment. That's half the price as everywhere else.
I never used a capacitive touch screen phone before. Not sure if it will be a problem or not.
From what I've read the only drawbacks seems to be battery life and Android 1.5. The OS is supposed to be upgraded to Android 2.0 in the near future, so the latter is probably not a big issue.
As I mentioned in my earlier posts, I was considering the Motorola Droid. But hey......I also like the idea of an Android smart phone for 50 bucks!

If anyone is using it yet please leave your opinion of the phone.
